With 764 votes , Fattoria La Maliosa , a winery in Saturnia, in the heart of the Maremma Grossetana, is the most voted in the Progressive Approach category of the Wine Travel Awards , a prestigious international recognition that annually recognizes not only the quality of the wine but also the overall experience of a winery: landscape, hospitality, innovation, sustainability, and cultural value of the visit. The winners are selected in two stages: in the first stage, voting is open to everyone; in the second stage, based on the results, five candidates for each category are selected and evaluated by a jury of twelve experts.
Fattoria La Maliosa was named Voting Winner thanks to its innovative approach to wine tourism and its strategic vision : "The Wine Travel Awards are a special recognition for us because they were awarded by the public , who chose to support and reward our vision of agriculture, hospitality, and wine tourism," explains Antonella Manuli , founder of Fattoria La Maliosa. "Thank you to everyone who voted for us and accompanied us on our journey. This award encourages us to continue sharing the story of the Tuscan Maremma through authentic, sustainable experiences deeply rooted in the land that hosts us."
La Maliosa's philosophy is reflected in the winery's calendar of summer events : on June 12 , 19 , and 26, every Friday in July , and on August 7 , 21, and 28, Open Vineyards: Sorsi e Pennelli will be held, in collaboration with Movimento Turismo Vino Toscana. This art workshop offers the opportunity to immerse yourself in nature and ignite your creativity with brushes, paints, a glass of wine, and crostini with homemade sauces. Zorina, an artist from Getman Studio, will guide the experience and help participants create a small canvas.
On Saturday, July 18th , the new winery will be inaugurated , which will also host works by artist Nina Eaton. The aperitif will be accompanied by a DJ set by Filippo Paoletti. Finally, on Friday, August 7th , with Calici di Stelle , again in collaboration with Movimento Turismo Vino Toscana, you can admire one of the most beautiful skies in Italy while tasting delicious typical Maremma products along with the natural wines of La Maliosa.

La Maliosa Farm
Fattoria La Maliosa is a farm of approximately 170 hectares nestled in the hilly Maremma countryside in the village of Saturnia in the province of Grosseto, one of the most authentic and wild areas of Tuscany. The name derives from the verb ammaliare (to bewitch), evoking the idea of wonder, capturing the character of the place: a pristine landscape where the company has worked since 2010 with profound respect for nature. Here, they produce natural wines and artisanally produced organic extra virgin olive oils, in an ecosystem of vineyards, olive groves, arable land, and woodlands that coexist in harmony. The philosophy of its founder, Antonella Manuli, guides a project rooted in sustainability and land protection: informed agronomic choices, attention to quality, recovery of biodiversity, and a commitment to preserving the health and beauty of the environment. Everything revolves around one guiding principle: preserving the uniqueness of the Maremma.
