Once again this year the Trentino Wine and Flavors Road celebrates the summer with a rich calendar of “ Gemme di Gusto ” events, organized over the weekends of the month of May .
A succession of open-air initiatives among vineyards, woods and meadows in bloom, among the scents and flavors of the season. Like the Vivi la Vigna Pic-nics , scheduled every Saturday and Sunday, from 11.00, at Mas dei Chini in Martignano di Trento , to be enjoyed among the rows of vines on the estate, or the walks around Marzemino , scheduled for all Friday of the month in the basaltic hills of Isera combined with local gastronomic specialities.
The art of making wine , from Vivallis to Nogaredo will also be repeated every weekend , on Friday and Saturday : a journey to discover this historic cellar by going through the various stages of production with final tasting. On the other hand, every Saturday , from 6 to 27 May, Madonna delle Vittorie di Arco invites you to participate in Dal fiore al table , lunch in an agritur followed by a visit to the distillery accompanied by dessert.
The program for Monday 1 May is particularly rich: from the food and wine trekking From the lake to taste , departing at 9.30 from Lake Caldonazzo towards Bosentino , where a gourmet stop is scheduled at the Ca' dei Baghi farm, and return ( reservation required by Friday 28 April ), in Calendimaggio , an event in Nogaredo which celebrates the awakening of nature and the female figure and which this year is dedicated to the woman "on the go", including shows, exhibitions, round tables, walks and food and wine proposals curated by local associations and producers. Also on the calendar, at 18.00 , the first date of Suono Di-Vino , then repeated on Sunday 7, 14 and 21 May , in which chamber jazz by artists on the international scene will meet with a tasting of wines and products della Vallagarina, on the noble floor of Palazzo de Probizer in Isera .
Flowers and wine protagonists on Friday 5 May for Rosa Rosae in the cellar , an aperitif at the Fioreria Roncador followed by dinner with tasting at the Cantine Mezzacorona-Rotari di San Michele a/A where a menu-homage to the rose will be offered, while Saturday 6 May (in repeat on the 27th) it is instead time for a spring brunch at Maso Martis in Martignano di Trento , which will offer vegan delicacies for the occasion. Children on the shoulder , however, in Grumes di Altavalle , for a walk, also suitable for the little ones, with whom to discover and taste the area together.
The following weekend, on the other hand, is the time for 4 steps on the Avisio, from the cellar to the farmstead , scheduled for Friday 12th and repeating on Friday 19th May . An excursion to discover the Doss Paion and the vineyards of the Maso Franch farm starting from the center of Lavis and passing through the enchanting Ciucioi Garden. Upon arrival, a selection of wines paired with cured meats and mountain cheeses. Saturday 13 May we move to Riva del Garda for Sentieri del Gusto , a 4 km walk to discover traditions and flavors, while on Sunday 14 May Vino tra le mura is scheduled - Autochthonous at the castle in Avio , an opportunity to get to know Trentino wines more historical and representative, with a dedicated menu in combination, and Primavera gusto fragola in Patone di Isera , a morning that kicks off with a tasty breakfast followed by a walk and then continues with a visit to the farm and artisan workshop, tastings and a musical aperitif, and then finish with a lunch.
From 19 to 21 May , in addition to the fixed appointments, the Teroldego Exhibition in Mezzocorona is scheduled, completely dedicated to Teroldego Rotaliano, the prince of Trentino red wines. Technical insights in the afternoon and free tastings with music and food proposals from local restaurateurs in the evening, as well as the possibility of discovering the area thanks to guided tours. The weekend is completed with Saperi e Sapori di Civezzano , along the "senter del lof", which crosses the trenches of Magnago to reach the battery in the cave of Castel Vedro and the underground works, to then reach the Tagliata Superiore di Civezzano, with visit and tasting.
On the last weekend of the month, Friday 26 May , Cenci Trentino of Castelnuovo organizes #Aperitivoperfetto , to celebrate World Aperitif Day with good food, excellent wine and lots of music, while Floricultura Roncador of Mezzolombardo presents Rosa Rosae , an evening dedicated to this fascinating flower to understand its secrets and understand how to best take care of it, enjoying some derived food products together, including an original strudel with apples and buds. Finally , on Saturday 27 and Sunday 28 May , the world of taste and the outdoors will meet on the occasion of the Vallagarina Experience Festival and finally the inevitable appointment with the Cantine Aperte event organized by the Movimento Turismo del Vino Trentino Alto Adige is back .
