The 28th edition of the event most loved by wine lovers, which this year will be called Cantine Aperte Insieme on Saturday 30 and Sunday 31 May, is already memorable: a multifaceted formula that will involve producers and wine lovers from all over Italy.
Friuli Venezia Giulia has also accepted the invitation of the national association for a toast from north to south involving the many associated wineries.

The formula of this edition is designed to satisfy different sensitivities: there will be wineries that will open their doors for visits to the winery and vineyards, while others will remain in contact with wine lovers through direct on Facebook and Instagram . In addition, on the evening of Saturday 30 there will be dinners with the winemaker , a format that invites you to live an experience with a total flavor, enhanced by an exclusive menu and by meeting with the vigneron.

" Even if tried by the pandemic, Friuli Venezia Giulia must start again and will know how to do it by getting back up as it has already shown in the past ". The regional councilor for tourism, Sergio Emidio Bini said this , meeting today, at the headquarters of the Region in Udine, the president of the Friuli Venezia Giulia Wine Tourism Movement, Elda Felluga, with the coordinator of the event Massimo Del Mestre. " Our region is a safe place where you can spend your holidays - emphasized Bini - not only for how it managed to manage the acute phase of the pandemic but for its geographical conformation and for the investments made, I think, for example, of those on slow tourism The territory allows us to offer a variety of panoramas and experiences to be lived in total safety with a wide range of types to meet all needs. It is a historical event that has given our territory many satisfactions and I am sure that it will continue to give it also in the 2020 edition. Wine tourism becomes an important means of making our viticulture known even more, opening up to scenarios where the countryside, hills and open spaces offer new opportunities to experience tourism ".

The president of the Friuli Venezia Giulia Wine Tourism Movement, Elda Felluga , tells the story of this year's edition. " Open Cellars this year presents itself in a new, certainly more social, form dedicated to our distant enthusiasts who, being unable to live this experience up close, will still be able to share moments dedicated to wine and the areas of excellence connected to it. A possibility to make get to know our realities and maybe as soon as it will be possible to plan some nice weekends in our region starting right from our cellars. For local friends, however, the possibility of being able to experience our territory through the "close-up" story of the winemakers in the farms available. carefully restrict the rules of this delicate phase. Given the limited numbers, I recommend booking , a valid tool that the Wine Tourism Movement has been promoting for years for a quality service.
This year we have privileged the countryside, our beautiful vineyards, the open spaces, and we would like to continue to do so in the summer, through the special edition of "Open Vineyards". In the autumn, after the harvest, other innovations that will close with Cantine Aperte in San Martino. I would like to recall the now traditional Dinner with the winemaker "This is also a significant team game ... important to start again together.
Last message, in this period we take the opportunity to rediscover our land and when we can our beautiful regions, we make the most of our "made in Italy" ... we have to start from here ... from our beautiful Italy! "

This year it will be even more important to consult our website www.cantineaperte.info to find out about the member companies and the methods they provide for #CantineAperteInsieme; remember that it is essential to respect all the indications that you will find in companies in order to be able to live peacefully this weekend in the open air .

Cantine Aperte has always been a tasty opportunity to get to know the food and wine and territorial peculiarities of our region; a similar commitment is shared annually and supported by PromoTurismo FVG, the regional tourism promotion body, and CiviBank, an institution that has always been close to the territory.

" Cantine Aperte is a consolidated wine tourism initiative that takes place in a particularly difficult period this year but which will undoubtedly contribute to relaunching the climate of trust and peaceful coexistence reduced by the Covid 19 emergency. CiviBank is delighted to be part of the promoting team also in this 28th edition hoping in this way to provide a further boost to the general economic recovery of Friuli VG. Already in recent weeks we have implemented a series of financial measures in favor of all economic categories, the most important of which concerns a first ceiling of 20 million euros aimed at providing liquidity to the production sectors put to the test by the lookdown. It is in the DNA of our bank, autonomous and territorial, to intervene in times of difficulty that affect the communities in which it has been operating for 133 years. We have also done so in this exceptional circumstance of health emergency both at credit level and at social-assistance level ial. ", declares the president of CiviBank Michela Del Piero .
