Thanks to a series of important agreements, in addition to the wineries present in the beverage area, at Winescape, a journey into the Italian winemaking tradition with the "Spazio Vignaiolo" in collaboration with the Consorzio Vignaioli del Trentino and Fivi.

Beverage is one of the driving sectors of the world economy and Hospitality-The Salone dell'Accoglienza, the leading international fair in Italy in hospitality and catering scheduled in Riva del Garda from 5 to 8 February 2024 , dedicates ample space to this segment both in the exhibition itinerary and through a complex series of training activities.

The distribution market in the Horeca channel, in Italy, plays a strategic role, with 3,800 companies, over 60,000 employees and 17 billion euros in turnover. According to the latest Censis-Italgrob report, in particular, the beverage distributors sector recorded a positive result in 2022, with an 18% turnover and a growth in volumes of approximately 9% compared to the previous year.

Precisely for this reason, the C3 Hospitality pavilion represents an exclusive and complete showcase on the world of drinks with wholesalers, suppliers and producers of beer, spirits, water, roasters and coffee, cellars, infusions, juices and non-alcoholic drinks to offer the best solutions of the beverage Ho.Re.Ca. and meet the different needs and tastes of all guests. And for a complete and in-depth overview of the art of mixing, craft beer and wine tourism, pavilion B4 is entirely dedicated to the special areas RPM - Riva Pianeta Mixology , Solobirra and Winescape which every year are enriched with new features and grow both in exhibition offer with events and training.

Thanks to the participation of Independent Winemakers in the " Winemaker Space ", organized by the Trentino Winemakers Consortium in collaboration with some local FIVI delegations - Italian Federation of Independent Winemakers, the Winescape 2024 area is even richer.

This partnership, born last year, is growing and consolidating and will allow visitors to the fair to live unique sensorial experiences with the great quality products of Trentino and beyond. The winemakers will be present with over 120 wineries and will bring the wines and the territory to the attention of national ho.re.ca operators, conveying the attractiveness of the production locations" , comments Alessandra Albarelli, General Director of Riva del Garda Fierecongressi.

The " Winemaker Space" will host over 125 Independent Winemakers to meet the world of Trentino, Veneto and Lombardy catering with tasting tables, meetings, workshops and tastings. The space will see the permanent presence of 50 companies from Trentino, as well as 25 companies from South Tyrol, 25 from Treviso, 25 from Lombardy who will alternate over the four days of the event.

Trentino wines can be tasted on all days of the event; instead, the winemakers of Alto Adige will be present: Monday 5 February 2024; Tuesday 6 February the Winemakers of Treviso; on Wednesday 7 February the winemakers of Oltrepò Pavese, to conclude on Thursday 8 February with local tasting stands.

As regards the other area of excellence of Hospitality, RPM - Riva Pianeta Mixology , in addition to the usual proposals from producers and distributors of grappa, spirits and spirits and from companies specialized in bartending accessories, the proposal will be enriched by tastings, master classes free with the companies and by the participation of the most expert and talented mixologists on the national and international scene who will take turns in the educational program for bartenders and catering and hotel professionals which will take place in the first three days of the fair.

Thanks to great masters, true ambassadors of mixology such as Samuele Ambrosi, Giorgio Fadda, Lucia Montanelli, Luca Picchi, Leonardo Pinto and Leonardo Veronesi , it will be possible to discover the latest trends, tools, mixing techniques and quality raw materials, essential for prepare inimitable cocktails. Interesting focuses on some ingredients such as rum, grappa and whisky, increasingly used in drinks and the insights into Tiki and tropical mixing.

On the last day of the fair, Thursday 8 February, the RPM Arena will be transformed into the perfect stage for the AIBES National Competition - Italian Association of Barmen and Supporters dedicated to the young talents of hotel and professional institutes, who represent the future of the art of mixing and of the bar world.

Finally, as regards Solobirra , the reference area of the Italian and international brewing sector to enhance the culture of craft beer, the great novelty of Hospitality 2024 is represented by the participation of the collective of Bavarian craft breweries " Bavarian Bier IGP ", thanks to the co-financing by the Bavarian Ministry of Food, Agriculture, Forestry and Tourism , and the close collaboration between Riva del Garda Fierecongressi and the Bayerischer Brauerbund (Association of Bavarian Breweries).

“ In addition to the numerous events, tastings and training meetings that will enliven the Beer Arena during the days of the event to delve deeper into the most current themes thanks to the contribution of master brewers, beer sommeliers and professionals in the sector, this year we have signed an agreement which is part of the scope of the export program of the Bavarian Ministry.
