On Saturday 7 and Sunday 8 October the “Arrigo Pedrollo” Conservatory will host over 25 companies from the Colli Berici, Vicenza and Gambellara consortiums for tasting tables and two masterclasses.

The thirteenth edition of the event will take place at the "Arrigo Pedrollo" Conservatory of Music in Vicenza , confirming the success of the past few years. The evocative spaces of the cloister and the frescoed rooms will host the tasting tables of over 25 local companies , with a selection of more than 100 labels .
During the two days, the producers will have the pleasure of sharing the stories of their wines and their winemaking reality at the tasting counters , open to the public from 5.00pm to 10.00pm on Saturday and from 5.00pm to 9.00pm on Sunday , offering enthusiasts the opportunity to discover autochthonous vines and wines such as Tai Rosso and Garganega, the white Pinot Grigio and Sauvignon, and the great reds based on Cabernet, Merlot and Carménère. The collaboration with the prestigious "Arrigo Pedrollo" Conservatory of Music in Vicenza will make the tasting experience unique thanks to the musical accompaniment performed by the institute's students.
The event will also be enriched by two moments of study . The masterclass scheduled for Saturday and conducted by Gianni Fabrizio , historic curator of the Gambero Rosso Italian Wine Guide , will be divided into two parts: the first will tell the characteristics of 4 ancient vines selected by the Graspo association - Sustainable Ampelographic Research Group for the Preservation of viticultural biodiversity, while the second will see 4 old vintages of red wines as protagonists reaching up to 1973 , the year of birth of the DOC Colli Berici. On Sunday Massimo Zanichelli , professional taster, wine writer and documentary maker, will lead a tasting of sweet wines from Gambellara .
" Gustus represents an opportunity to immerse yourself in the richness of the wine production of the Vicenza area and plays an important role in the promotion and enhancement of our wine territories - declares Giovanni Ponchia , Director of the Consorzi Tutela Vini Colli Berici, Vicenza and Gambellara -. We are proud to collaborate once again with the 'Arrigo Pedrollo' Conservatory of Music to offer an event that combines the refinement of our wines with the magic of music, even more so in this special edition, in which we celebrate the fiftieth anniversary of the establishment of the DOC Colli Berici ".
The event also maintains its charitable intent, as already happened in 2021 and 2022. A part of the proceeds will be destined for the restoration of "The Crucifixion", a fresco by the Vicenza painter Giovanni Vajenti Speranza.
Tickets will be available at the entrance at a cost of 20 euros or they can be purchased at a reduced price in presale on the Gustus website for 15 euros starting from 20 September. The reduction is also reserved for all AIS, Onav, Fisar, Fis and Slow Food members who decide to buy the ticket at the entrance to the event. A glass, a coupon for free tastings and a plate of gastronomic specialties are included in the price.
