Autumn in Trentino is a time for picnics, foliage, evocative atmospheres and panoramas. Not only that: year after year there are more and more food & wine lovers who choose this period to calmly and peacefully savor its typical aromas and flavors. This is why there is great anticipation for DiVin Ottobre , the festival of events organized by the members of the Strada del Vino e dei Sapori del Trentino which involves numerous localities in Trentino, between the capital and the many villages that dot the valleys, inaugurating the autumn season.
The program covers all weekends of the month , some repeated on several occasions to be shared and experienced by a large audience of enthusiasts. You will truly be spoiled for choice between aperitifs, tastings and guided tours to discover vineyards, cellars and castles, trekking, themed dinners, food and wine workshops and holiday proposals to experience all these initiatives interspersed with moments of pure relaxation.
Here is a little taste to whet the desire for Trentino even in autumn. We start on Sunday 1st October with a wine trekking in Piana Rotaliana, which will also be repeated on the following weekends. But the menu of the event is truly rich, including dinners combined with moonlit walks, unprecedented forays into refuges embraced by the Brenta Dolomites - splendid in their lesser-known autumnal guise - to discover local products or among the woods of Vallagarina search for the thrill of listening to the roar of the deer.
Without forgetting the events dedicated to products such as gin or vermouth and the events dedicated to seasonal products. Above all, those that celebrate the renowned chestnuts of Drena and Castione, but also the Pumpkin or Potato Festival, for a real immersion in the flavors of Trentino from Val di Cembra to Alto Garda, passing through Valsugana and the capital.
There are various opportunities to explore nature on foot, visit wineries and agritourism companies, be enchanted by the tastings of the Women of Wine at the Avio Castle, listen to the stories of producers and artists who are inspired by the colors of Trentino for their works, but also to learn all the secrets of the most representative wines of the area or authentic gems, such as the Reboro in Valle dei Laghi.
