Technological Wine Tourism: innovative services on the move for tourists along the Strada del Vino Nobile

At the Preview the Strada del Vino Nobile explained its project to create fourteen areas equipped to provide information to tourists. The system offers innovative tourist information services combining effective communication and progress in the protection of the landscape and the care for disabled people.


14 Wi-Fi zones: to live the Strada del Vino Nobile
The 14 equipped areas will be within the municipality of Montepulciano and the tourists will find services and information absolutely free and gratis. Each area will have information boards but also will be covered by wi-fi signal that will allow tourists to connect to the Internet at no charge using laptop, tablet, smartphone, navigator etc. In addition, the entire historic city center is covered by an intranet wi-fi net (free) to offer visitors free information, immediately and on the move.

The wine tourists will have the opportunity to read all the information on maps and download the information on the net but, first of all, visitors will have the opportunity to login to the portal of Strada del Vino Nobile taking advantage of a range of services: to deepen the knowledge of the cultural and environmental heritage, to reserve seats for shows, spa, visits to museums and wineries, tourist guides.

Anything you can find in Montepulciano will be accessible on the move and from a single platform including the opportunity to book your stay.
