Thanks to 'European Space Company and Google maps was born Grapelook: a ??new system to know when to water.
The project provides data in real time, then processed by a computer to draw a map published online and made ??available to growers.
This system will monitor water stress, plant growth and bring out issues related to irrigation.
For now Grapelook has been tested with the wine in South Africa and they recognized very useful service: reduces labor and production costs.
The goal is to extend the service to other geographical areas and to other types of crops.
