The old Tavern Da Gianna is still there, after many years and many urban upheavals in the historic center. At the helm Ms. Gianna, who embodies and offers the simplicity typical of the Genoese cuisine. There are always the classics of tradition, fried anchovies and cuttlefish buridda next to creative pasta dishes such as linguine with eggplant and calamari sauce, lasagna with asparagus and red mullet. As second courses, if you are not full yet, "fritellone" of salt cod and squid with leeks and mushrooms. The wine list, especially in Liguria, is recited by mouth. The Da Gianna restaurant has 38 seats.

The Da O’ Batti restaurant is a small romantic bonbonniére of taste in Portofino, furnished in antique wood, rich in maritime paintings, themed furniture and decorated plates. 20 seats inside, and as many out in summer, at Da O’ Batti you arrive by following the path that leads to the most famous square in the world, in an alley surrounded by the houses that were once those of the sailors of the place, close to the Theatre.

Giancarlo Foppiano, wine enthusiast, professional sommelier of Fisar, took it over 35 years ago from the old Batti, who made it famous for his "Scampi alla Batti".

In this valuable venue, always attended by the people who "count", the atmosphere attracts especially for the intimacy of the place.

Passionate customers enjoy the delights of dishes of fish, rigorously fresh, wearing around their neck a customized napkin of the place, sitting on antique style chairs of straw, the traditional–chic checked in red and white table cloths.

Dinner here is full of charm and the environment takes on an even more romantic and enchanting atmosphere thanks to the soft lighting and the lights of candles on each table.



As every venue associated to Fisar should – more than thirty years ago it was one of the first to graduate in the course – the Da O’ Batti restaurant has interesting wine labels selected with care. Many are the foreigners, primarily with champagne, but also many red wines, in contrast to what would be expected in combination with this kitchen.
Giancarlo Foppiano cuts short: "The foreigners, most of the public that attends my restaurant, ask me for red wines. Demand, answer".

Osvaldo Antica Trattoria

If you take a ride in the ancient fishing village of Boccadasse in Genoa, you should go to eat at Osvaldo Antica Trattoria. The restaurant is located in an old building and has not changed since its birth in the late 40s.

It is a small restaurant, very intimate and cosy, with a few seats, but with an excellent kitchen.

Initially, the Osvaldo tavern was a dairy with pool table and a wood stove, which already attracted many tourists and bystanders. It was later transformed into the lush and brilliant activity that we know today.
Its spirit and passion for good food have remained unchanged over the years. This is the secret of Osvaldo.

Its main dishes is Carpaccio of tuna, amberjack and shrimps, that is unique and incomparable.

At Osvaldo’s a large and diverse menu of fish, pasta, meat and homemade sweets waits for you according to ancient seafood recipes which remained associated with Osvaldo.

We accept reservations only by phone, to secure one of the few tables that Osvaldo offers.

The foundation of the current Trattoria Rosa dates back to 1953, when the same holder of today, Ms. Rosa, opened a tavern for the village. In 1963, when the street was built, the tavern became Trattoria Rosa, specialized in Ligurian cuisine. Here you can taste dishes that are rigorously homemade and prepared at the time by the owners.

Trattoria La Ruota

For over 40 years the La Ruota restaurant–tavern has been a venue which attracts lovers of good food thanks to specialties made ​​with fresh and selected ingredients, typical of Ligurian and traditional cuisine.


The restaurant, located in Genoa Nervi, close to the sea, was founded in 1968 and since then the family management has remained the same, offering delicious food and so much courtesy and creating an ideal place for business lunches and dinners, small banquets and receptions.

In this quiet and elegant atmosphere you can enjoy pastries and homemade cakes. And then you can indulge in authentic delicacies such as seafood Ravioli, Pappardelle pasta with lobster, Pansoti with walnut sauce, Trofie pasta and Lasagna with pesto.
