X edition of Life of Wine 2021

Just over a month away from the eagerly awaited 10th edition of Life of Wine, a unique wine event that will bring to Rome a careful selection of Italian wineries and a taste of some of their rare and precious old vintages. From an idea of Studio Umami and Roberta Perna Comunicazione Enogastronomica , Florence agencies specialized in communication and organization of food and wine events and with the precious support of the journalist Maurizio Valeriani committed to strengthening the selection of companies, Life of Wine is reconfirmed, with its particular format, a unique event of its kind. As every year, in fact, each winery present at the tasting counter will bring for tasting, at least one of the most representative labels, the vintage on the market and at least two old vintages . There will be about fifty realities present, over 100 old vintages that can be tasted, and over 200 wines for tasting, including bubbles, whites, rosés and reds.

From the north to the south of the Bel Paese, also passing through the islands, it will be possible to know in the glass not only the evolution of wine over time, but also the history of the wineries present. New this year will be the new location: in fact, the Hotel Villa Pamphili will host the 10th birthday of Life of Wine , a historic structure in the capital in the greenery of the Villa Pamphili Park that will open its doors to producers and the public in the new designed look. from the recent restyling works. The numbers that accompanied the years the event, which was attended by some of the most renowned Italian companies and tasting often unobtainable old vintages of great wines, witnessed an exponential growth in terms of participation and quality of the public: l 'last edition - held at the Radisson Blu Hotel in Rome on 18 October 2020 - saw the presence of over 50 wineries from all over Italy, registering, despite the restrictions caused by the health situation, more than 350 entries with over 150 operators in the sector and 70 representatives of the specialized press . From the seventh edition, however, up to the eighth, Life of Wine has reached numbers equal to 650 admissions.

In the event of non-restrictions caused by Covid, admission to the public will be from 14.30 until 20. The 10.30 - 13.30 shift will be dedicated to the press, sommeliers and operators. Press and operators will be able to apply for accreditation on the Life of Wine website.

In case of Covid-19 emergency restrictions, limited number entrances could be organized in three shifts. In this case, reservations will be required and can be made on the Life of Wine website .

The organization will strive to meet all the protocols required for the Covid-19 emergency.

The entrance fee - with the possibility of tasting all the wines present - is 25 euros (reduced 20 euros with a sommelier card to be presented at the entrance), a gift for operators (one entrance per business), press, bloggers and influencers with request for accreditation.
