WINE TASTINGS FROM THE PAVESE TERRITORY ARE STARTING (ALREADY WINNER OF THE 2023 “VINARIUS” AWARD), PROTAGONISTS IN OVER 30 ITALIAN WINE SHOPS

VINARIUS and PAVIASVILUPPO (Special Company of the Pavia Chamber of Commerce) are pleased to announce the initiative that celebrates the wines of the area already winner of the 9th Vinarius Award 2023 with the " tasting week " of the excellent wines of the Pavia area . Well over 30 wine shops along the entire peninsula have participated in the "tasting week", which will take place from 23 to 28 October . Tasting the wines of the winemakers who, with their work and passion, have made this area worthy of receiving the Vinarius award. Just as the Pavia area is now recognized for its strong wine-growing vocation, in the same way the wines fully represent its winemaking tradition and culture and thanks to the "tasting week", organized by Vinarius and Paviasviluppo for lovers and enthusiasts of these Italian excellences, it is possible to learn more and experience the characteristics of this area and its products directly in participating wine shops. “ We are proud to be able to continue in the direction already traced by the Vinarius association with the 2023 Vinarius Award and with the in-depth journey for the promotion of the protagonist territory, the Pavia area. WHO IS VINARIUS

Vinarius is the Association of Italian Wine Shops and represents over 120 members (whose total turnover is close to 50 million euros) covering the entire national territory. The association, now chaired by Andrea Terraneo, was founded in 1981 and has as its social aim the promotion, valorisation and protection of wine shops as commercial activities specialized in the offering of quality wine. The association deals with the training of the winemaker, his collaborators and employees, professional updates, identifying and implementing a whole series of activities ranging from the organization of study trips to in-depth internships in the various places of production, actively participating in conferences, exhibitions, fairs, events of various kinds. Every two years Vinarius organizes and promotes the Vinarius Territory Award, which reached its ninth edition in 2020. Furthermore, it maintains close and cordial relations with the two major French associations.
