The Turin Wine Fair reaches its fourth edition and returns from Saturday, February 28th to Monday, March 2nd, 2026 , at the OGR Turin , confirming its position as the largest "open cellar" in Piedmont . Two days, Saturday and Sunday , will be dedicated to the general public of wine enthusiasts, while Monday, March 2nd will be entirely reserved for industry professionals.
"Tasting is discovery" is the theme of the fourth edition of the Salone del Vino: because every new wine opens up new horizons, requires a new perspective, and changes one's taste map. A new opportunity to be surprised by Piedmont's winemaking heritage.
In anticipation of the event, a comprehensive program will accompany the public throughout the month of February, with over 50 events , including dinners, tastings, and events spread across Turin and Piedmont, culminating during the Salone week. But that's not all: starting this edition, the Turin Wine Salone strengthens its role as a cultural event, extending throughout the year , transcending the city limits to engage the entire Piedmont region . This ongoing project, comprised of widespread initiatives, meetings, and collaborations, will guide the public in discovering wine as a living expression of culture, territory, and community.
The mission of the 2026 Salone del Vino remains the same: to tell the story of Piedmont's winemaking heritage in all its uniqueness , involving territories, wineries, consortia, and wine communities. A narrative that brings together great traditions, the future, and new trends , promoting wine as a cultural, economic, and social expression of a unique territory.
Piedmont will be described as a cultural system of wine , made up of landscapes, people, work, stories, research and innovation, trying to understand the transformations taking place and valorising the new generations in the cellar and young consumers.
The 2026 Wine Show is organized by KLUG APS with the patronage and support of the City of Turin, the Turin Chamber of Commerce , Unioncamere Piemonte , Turismo Torino e Provincia ; with the patronage and support of the Piedmont Region , the Metropolitan City of Turin , with the support of the CRT Foundation , Amiat, Gruppo Iren and GTT .
" Telling the story of Piedmont's winemaking heritage is a unique journey of cultural growth: with each edition we discover new wines, renewed traditions, and new, young and dynamic wineries ," emphasizes Patrizio Anisio, director of the Salone del Vino Torino , " but above all, we see how the public is always seeking immersive experiences, with a lively, fluid curiosity and an ever-increasing focus on sustainability ."
"This year, too, we wholeheartedly support the Salone del Vino, which has the power to bring together diverse spirits and has for years promoted and promoted Turin and Piedmont wines," says Massimiliano Cipolletta, President of the Turin Chamber of Commerce . "The event provides us with the opportunity to present a new digital platform, developed in coordination with our Chemical Laboratory, a tool available to winemakers and agronomists to provide concrete support in managing the transformations and risks associated with climate change. There will also be free tastings to showcase our selection of Torino DOC wines, including the more niche products currently attracting public attention. Finally, with the aim of increasing market opportunities for five of our companies, we are planning a series of meetings dedicated to international buyers, organized in collaboration with Unioncamere Piemonte ."
"The Salone del Vino confirms its position as a key event in our city's calendar of major events, transforming Turin into a true wine capital," says Domenico Carretta, Councilor for Major Events and Tourism for the City of Turin . "With this fourth edition, the Salone takes another step forward. From an exhibition showcase, it expands, extending beyond the walls of the OGR Torino, becoming a widespread project, thanks to the "Waiting for the Salone" program, which will involve the entire urban fabric throughout the month of February, from historic venues to historic wineries, to cultural venues. The Salone del Vino is an event that represents the Turin we want: a city capable of celebrating its roots, but with an eye to the future, innovation, and above all, youth. The involvement of "First Generation" wineries and the focus on sustainability demonstrate that the world of Piedmontese wine is more vibrant and dynamic than ever. A world that residents and tourists will be able to discover, guided by this year's theme, "Tasting is discovering."
Paolo Bongioanni, Councilor for Trade, Agriculture and Food, Tourism, Sport and Post-Olympic Games, Hunting and Fishing, and Parks of the Piedmont Region, states : "Today, Piedmontese wine is called upon to face two major challenges simultaneously. The first is to decisively conquer new markets, in light of the economic and geopolitical changes currently affecting global scenarios. This is why we are working to establish a Wine Observatory that will provide us with scientific, rather than emotional, guidance on where to aim. The second is to engage in promotion and storytelling to re-engage younger generations, whom an irresponsible ideological approach to criminalizing wine has alienated from informed consumption. With its tastings, packages, and tours open to the general public, and its rich program of off-site events involving restaurants and nightlife venues, the Turin Wine Fair offers an innovative and courageous approach in this regard, connecting the extraordinary stories of our region and our producers, their narratives, and an authentic experience of discovery and knowledge."
"The Metropolitan City sponsors and supports the Wine Show and will be present with its own stand, created in collaboration with the Canavese and Collina Torinese Food District ," emphasizes Sonia Cambursano, Metropolitan City Councilor responsible for production activities, economic development, strategic planning, and tourism. " We will be offering tastings of Erbaluce DOCG, Canavese Rosso DOC, and nine products representative of the nine areas into which the District is divided. We will showcase a region that ranges from the Ivrea Morenica Hills to the outskirts of Turin, passing through the Canavese plain. A region where food and wine are not just production, but landscape, culture, and identity."
