Wine: Chianti DOCG Vista Mare - From the Tuscan Hills to the Most Beautiful Gulf in the World, an event celebrating Tuscan wine excellence.

An unmissable evening featuring 150 labels from the appellation. The Tuscan hills meet the sea of Naples, glasses of Chianti overlooking the Gulf, and an evening designed to celebrate flavor, conviviality, and the connection between territories that symbolize Italian excellence. On Saturday, June 6, starting at 7:30 PM and closing at 1:00 AM, Villa Floridiana, one of the most evocative locations in the Campania capital, in the heart of Vomero, will host " Chianti DOCG Vista Mare – from the Tuscan Hills to the Most Beautiful Gulf in the World," an event promoted by the Chianti Wine Consortium and VitignoItalia with the support of the Ministry of Agriculture, Food Sovereignty, and Forestry. The event will bring a comprehensive tasting experience dedicated to the appellation to Naples.

"We wanted to create an event that would unite landscape, wine, and the culture of hospitality. Chianti DOCG is an expression of diverse territories, histories, and traditions that resonate perfectly with a vibrant and authentic city like Naples, " explains Giovanni Busi, President of the Chianti Wine Consortium . "We're talking about a city where Chianti is highly appreciated and consumed, thanks in part to a strong international tourist presence. For this reason, events like the one on June 6th are valuable opportunities to showcase what Chianti DOCG is today: a contemporary, dynamic wine that is increasingly in tune with consumer tastes. We want to offer an experience that brings together wine, emotion, and beauty ."

The initiative will bring 150 labels to the Campania capital, representing the denomination's most authentic terroirs, with a tasting dedicated to the diverse interpretations of Sangiovese and the many nuances of Chianti DOCG production. Between the Villa's historic avenues and the sea view, wine will become a tale of people, land, and passion. Reinforcing the connection between the Chianti region and Campania's finest products, the initiative will include a culinary component featuring products from Sorì, a Teano-based dairy company, a leading producer of buffalo mozzarella and fior di latte since 1868, and Pulcinella Gourmet with its gastronomic offering "La frittata 'e Pulcinella."

“The 2026 edition of VitignoItalia has just closed - comments the Director of VitignoItalia Maurizio Teti - during which we celebrated our first 20 years of history.
