Trentino&Wine… and more: the Exhibition of Trentino wines doubles

In the summer setting of Tonadico, the event that talks about Trentino wine is back with tastings, masterclasses and cooking classes on Friday 4 and Saturday 5 August.

Trentino&Wine…and more, an event that relaunches and renews the traditional Exhibition of Trentino wines, returns, after the May date which was held in Trento, with a new appointment on Friday 4 and Saturday 5 August from 17.30 to 20.30 at Palazzo Scopoli in the beautiful summer setting of Tonadico .

The event, organized by the Dolomites Cheese Route, the Trentino Wine Consortium and the Istituto Tutela della Grappa Trentina with the support of the Municipality of Primiero San Martino di Castrozza, aims to tell about Trentino wine and its territory taking us on a fascinating journey through cellars, history, flavours, music and conviviality.

Among the events scheduled in the two days masterclasses, cooking classes, tastings.

With Wine & Me - Friday and Saturday from 17.30 to 20.30 - guests will be able to taste à la carte a rich collection of labels of Trentino still wines (97 references from 41 companies) from the numerous wineries in the area, from the Val di Cembra to the Vallagarina, for the Piana Rotaliana, Valle dei Laghi and the Adige. There will also be Grappa from Trentino in a summer version in the form of an intriguing cocktail. All accompanied and seasoned with products from the Dolomites Cheese Route.

To enrich the tastings at the table also Wine&Winemakers, two masterclasses with the producer , which will take place both days at 6 pm , to discover what lies inside and behind a bottle: quality, work, history, passion. A moment of insight and storytelling, a chat with those who make wine, for those who want to get to know wine in depth without stopping at the label. Paired with local cheeses and cured meats told by those who produce them. On Friday 4 August the wines of Villa Corniole will be the protagonists, while on Saturday 5 August it will be the turn of the Mezzacorona winery.

For those who want to discover the secrets of Trentino wine in the kitchen , Silvia Coletto, cook and food blogger, will lead Wine&Cooking on Friday at 4.30 pm , a cooking class where wines become ingredients and combinations of some food proposals. To top it all off, good live music for a convivial and cheerful evening in which to toast with friends. Each participant will have a dedicated workstation for the assisted creation of their own recipes and at the end of the lesson the preparations can be tasted together with a glass of Trentino wine.
