Casimiro Maule, since 1971, has been oenologist manager of Nino Negri: the largest company in the Valtellina. All over these years Maule has been a point of reference and has succeeded in addressing the entire territory towards quality, focusing on an always impeccable oenological style. We will retrace this story through the tasting of four particularly significant wines in the oenological tour from Valtellina. Giacomo Mjoli (a former Slow Food executive, a journalist, one of the architects and coordinators of the Sciur project: the new wine signed Nino Negri) will take place in the tasting, too.
The tasting will be led by Giancarlo Gariglio, curator of the Slow Wine Guide.
The wines in the tasting:
Valtellina Superiore Sciur 2012
Valtellina Superiore Vigneto Fracia 2011
Sforzato della Valtellina Carlo Negri 2011
Sforzato della Valtellina 5 Stelle 2010
7:00 p.m., Banca del Vino tasting room – booking advised
Cost: euro 10 (free for Banca del Vino members and euro 5 for Slow Food members and Unisg students)
