The Great Terroirs of Barbaresco, Alba Hotel Calissano Sunday 8 October

The second edition of "The great terroirs of Barbaresco", an initiative created by Go Wine , will be held in Alba on Sunday 8 October.

The event takes inspiration from a similar event dedicated to Barolo that Go Wine has been promoting for many years at the beginning of spring.

The format is the same and is exclusively dedicated to the other great red wine from Langa.

Su takes place in the context of the first weekend of the International Alba White Truffle Fair, in a particularly lively period of food and wine events and attractions for the city of Alba (truffle market etc...).

A tasting to explore "in the field" the richness of the production area, the peculiarities of the different crus (geographical mentions), to make tasters and the public reflect on the importance of the "land-territory" factor in the greatness of a wine like Barbaresco .

The event takes place in Alba, a few steps from Piazza Michele Ferrero, in the elegant rooms of the Hotel Calissano, in via Pola, 9.

The program includes tasting tables and meetings with the wineries, exclusive masterclasses and visits to the cellar.

The tasting at the tasting counter will be divided into two shifts. Tickets are on sale on our online site with a special discount.

-second shift: 2.30pm-6.00pm

The cost of the tasting is 23 euros (20 euro reductions with online purchase, 15 euros for Go Wine members). Includes free tasting of Barbarescos at the tasting counter.
