On the occasion of Vinitaly, Saturday, April 11, 2026, from 7:00 PM to 10:00 PM, at Spazio Seletti and the Peter Frey Art Gallery, in the heart of Verona, Castello del Terriccio invites you to a meeting, discussion , and tasting of new and old vintages. It will be an open and dynamic aperitif, encouraging discussion and conviviality.
Castello del Terriccio, nestled among holm oak hills, Mediterranean scrub, and vineyards gently sloping down to the sea in Castellina Marittima (an hour from Pisa and about 15 minutes from the nearest beach), evokes a corner of Tuscany where nature, history, and wine blend in perfect harmony. Perched on a hilltop, the estate overlooks an enchanting landscape scented with wild herbs and sea breezes, where on clear days the Tuscan archipelago looms on the horizon.
Today the estate produces wines of extraordinary quality — including the celebrated Lupicaia (produced since 1993), powerful and elegant after over 22 months of aging in tonneaux — along with cuvées such as Tassinaia (produced since 1992), Castello del Terriccio and the more recent Gian Annibale .
Within the estate, Villa La Marrana —a charming residence converted from the estate's historic stables—offers comfortable rooms, a swimming pool, and sweeping views of the sea and vineyards, immersed in the quiet of the Tuscan countryside.
Terraforte offers guests an authentic gastronomic experience with creative dishes created by Michelin-starred chef Cristiano Tomei : cuisine deeply rooted in the local area, made with ingredients from the estate and perfectly paired with Castello del Terriccio wines.
At the helm of the estate is Vittorio Piozzo di Rosignano , whose family has looked after Castello del Terriccio for over a century. Under his vision, the property has established itself as a benchmark of Tuscan excellence, where heritage, landscape, and viticulture are preserved with extraordinary care.
