Signature sips: AIS Veneto tastings are back

The Italian Sommelier Association of Veneto will again be a partner of Sorsiutore and will lead the wine tastings during the four elegant evenings , from 19 June to 11 July, organized by the Aida Foundation with the Veneto Region, the Regional Institute of Villas Venete and the Association for Venetian Villas. The event, now in its 22nd edition, offers a rich and interesting program of events in attendance, after the podcast version of last year, with guided wine tastings, meetings with personalities from the Italian cultural scene and visits to the host historic buildings. The first evening will be Saturday 19 June from 4.00 pm, with the guided tour of Villa Badoer in Fratta Polesine (RO), designed by Andrea Palladio in 1556 and today protected by Unesco. At 5.00 pm the guided wine tasting of the Tedeschi company from Pedemonte di Valpolicella (VR) will begin, organized by the AIS delegation of Rovigo. At 6.30 pm the presentation of the book written by Litfiba frontman Piero Pelù Spacca the infinity will take place. The novel of a lifetime , which traces the profile of the life of the rock star. The meeting will be moderated by Federico Bonati , with a second wine tasting of the company conducted by Sommelier Gianpaolo Breda. The meeting on Friday 2 July will begin at 4.00 pm with a visit to Villa Cordellina Lombardi in Montecchio Maggiore (VI), on a tour of Tiepolo's frescoes and the sumptuous garden. At 5.00 pm the guided wine tasting of the Falezze company of Luca Anselmi from Illasi (VR), by the AIS delegation of Vicenza. At 7.30 pm the debate, moderated by Luca Telese, where Bianca Berlinguer , presenter of Rai Tre, will meet Mauro Corona , mountaineer, writer and poet of wood. They will be accompanied by a second tasting of the company's wines led by Sommelier Paola Bonomi . The precious Castle of San Salvatore di Susegana (TV), seat of the third meeting on Sunday 4 July , can be visited from 16.00 to 20.45. At 6.00 pm there will always be a guided tasting, by the Treviso AIS delegation, of the wines of the Collalto di Susegana (TV) winery. At 7.00 pm the meeting, moderated by Luca Telese, with the economist and columnist Carlo Cottarelli who will present All'inferno e sfondo. For our social and economic rebirth , with a second wine tasting of the company conducted by Sommelier Wladimiro Gobbo . The last meeting of the review will be Sunday 11 July at Villa Foscarini Rossi in Stra (VE), which can be visited from 16.00 to 20.45, with the tasting by the AIS delegation of Venice at 18.00: tasting the company's wines Costa Arènte of Grezzana (VR). To close the events of the event will be Stefano Mancuso , scientist and botanist of international fame, as well as author of numerous books including The plant of the world , which he will present to the public at 7.00 pm, together with a second wine tasting of the company conducted by the Sommelier Francesca Penzo , Cinzia Tani will moderate the evening. All wine tastings will be accompanied by a selection of cheeses from the Consortium for the protection of Asiago cheese, Salumi Eustacchio and Bassini 1963 products and during the evening events there will also be a taste of Dalla Costa Alimentare pasta. In case of bad weather the events will be held in the villas, in alternative spaces to the gardens.
