Lungarotti focuses on the wine tourism-culture combination to accelerate the restart. The first to exit the lockdown will be the Muvit (Torgiano Wine Museum), the largest and most complete Italian exhibition dedicated to the history and civilization of wine, which on Saturday 20 June will reopen in total safety. With about 3,500 exhibits located in twenty rooms, the Muvit of the Lungarotti Foundation describes 5 thousand years of history of Mediterranean viticulture and wine between myth, food, medicine, sociability and love through thematic itineraries that range from equipment to amphorae, from ceramics to archaeological collections , editorials and artistic works from antiquity to the present day. Among the novelties, the virtual audio guides downloadable on smartphones by connecting to a QR Code available in each room.

Inaugurated in 1974 by the will of Giorgio and Maria Grazia Lungarotti, the Muvit completes the wine tourism offer of the Umbrian brand known worldwide for its Rubesco and forerunner in Italy of the tourism-wine pairing.

And the "Experience", also in a temporary key, will be the watchword of the Lungarotti proposal for the 2020 summer holidays, with picnics in the vineyard or immersed in nature, virtual tours to the cellars of Torgiano and Montefalco, guided visits to the vineyards and tastings. And for tourists whether they are close, Italian or foreign, there is no lack of hospitality with the Poggio alle Vigne farmhouse: 10 independent apartments and 1 independent studio in the Rubesco vineyards.
