Life of Wine, the only event in Italy entirely dedicated to sampling the evolution of wine over time directly at the tasting tables, returns to Rome . A consolidated format, designed for industry professionals and discerning enthusiasts, it focuses on comparing different vintages and the ability of wines to transform over the years.
The fifteenth edition will take place on Sunday 20 November 2026 in the consolidated setting of the Hotel Villa Pamphili , a venue that over the years has helped define the event's identity.
Created by Studio Umami and Roberta Perna Comunicazione Enogastronomica, Life of Wine benefits from the collaboration of journalist Maurizio Valeriani , director of the Vinodabere magazine, and journalist Leonardo Romanelli , who assist the organization in selecting the participating companies.
Approximately 60 wineries from across Italy will be present, sharing a shared narrative spanning regions, styles, and typologies, offering a concrete interpretation of the evolution of wine over time.
Each producer will present at least one label from multiple vintages (both older and currently available), allowing visitors to appreciate the differences, refinements, and evolutionary perspectives in the glass . This journey not only covers red wines, but also includes sparkling wines, rosés, white wines, and dessert wines, providing a broad and contemporary vision of the topic.
Further company references will also be available and, in some cases, the possibility of direct purchase, with prices displayed .
Among the new features of the 2026 edition is the introduction of a food area dedicated to selected producers, who will offer tastings and sell their excellent products , helping to offer an even more complete and representative vision of Italy's food and wine heritage.
Another new feature is a free shuttle service connecting Hotel Villa Pamphili to the nearest metro station, making it easier to access the event. The departure station for this service will be announced in the coming months. It will be available for the entire duration of the event and is reserved for attendees.
