Lambrusco a Palazzo: 6 and 7 May 2023, a weekend tinged with Lambrusco dedicated to all its variations and to the four territories from which it is born

Vermilion, ruby or purple. It has bubbles. It's Lambrusco! A glass of Lambrusco, unmistakable and extremely versatile, is capable of satisfying the needs of modern drinking and of bringing together four provinces : Modena, Mantua, Reggio Emilia and Parma are indissolubly united by this symbolic wine . It is a contemporary wine that is also suitable for those who make environmental sustainability and territoriality a philosophy of life and consumption.

The eighth edition of Lambrusco a Palazzo is upon us and the Polirone Abbey in San Benedetto Po (MN) , a monastic complex dating back to the 11th century, is already ready to welcome the excellent Lambrusco wines, the Olympus of Lambrusco. On 6 and 7 May , the cloisters of the Secolari and San Simeone, a location punctuated and punctuated by arches and bricks, will be colored by 180 Lambrusco labels in all its nuances and facets, ideal for both experts and enthusiasts.

The event is organized by ONAV Mantova and La Strada dei Vini e Sapori Mantovani with the patronage and collaboration of the Municipality of San Benedetto Po , a partnership that unites food and wine from the Mantua, Modena, Reggio and Parma areas in an embrace, cradle of Lambrusco and numerous tasty typical products. During the event, in fact, it will be possible to taste an excellent gastronomic specialty curated by the Pro Loco Teofilo Folengo: salami cooked under the ashes, unique in its kind for its harmony of flavors and characteristic cooking methods.

After a three-year break, the 2023 edition will be a real hymn to authenticity and naturalness thanks also to the "Indigenous" area , set up in the Capitoline hall, and dedicated to tasting organic Lambrusco produced with spontaneous yeasts autochthonous , coming from the 4 provinces. They are ancestral Lambrusco, closely linked to the natural fermentation processes, which give wines that are different from each other and different from themselves from year to year.

General information : 6 May 2023 from 15 to 20:30 and 7 May 2023 from 13:30 to 20 in the Polirone Abbey in San Benedetto Po (MN); registration at the Abbey entrance (€12 full price, €10 reduced price for ONAV, AIS, FISAR, FIS, ASPI, WSET members).
