The Custoza DOC Wine Protection Consortium and the Veronese Chefs Association are protagonists of the 4th edition of Garda Food&Drink

Two days of good food and good wine, which strengthens the alliance between two standard bearers of the wine and gastronomic excellence of the Verona area. Also for 2024, the Custoza Doc Wine Protection Consortium and the Veronese Chefs Association chaired by Mida Muzzolon, join forces for a common commitment, the promotion of the territory, its excellence and the white wine of Verona.

As a first activity, they create synergy within the framework of Garda Food&Drink , scheduled for 26 and 27 February at the Veronello Resort in Calmasino di Bardolino (VR).

Now in its fourth edition this year, the event will be full of opportunities to get to know, taste and learn. Visitors will have the opportunity to discover the different variations of Custoza, participate in cooking shows, conventions and conferences held by industry experts.

The conference with tasting " Custoza: the white wine of Verona, a precious ally of every Chef and Sommelier" will be held on Monday 26 February from 3.00 pm to 4.00 pm, organized by the Consortium and the Association.

The conference-debate "Bread in catering in 2024" is scheduled for Tuesday 27 February from 3.00 pm to 4.00 pm, with the intervention of the founding master of Ambassadeur du Pain Italia Piergiorgio Giorilli. To conclude the day, all those present will be offered an aperitif with dishes prepared by Cuochi Veronesi and Custoza.

“We are really happy to be able to continue our collaboration with the Veronese Chefs Association, which shares with us the values of excellence and valorisation of our splendid territory” states Roberta Bricolo, President of the Custoza DOC Wine Protection Consortium. “This is only the first step of a journey which in the coming months will see the development of new important synergies between the Consortium and the Veronese restaurant industry, with the aim of providing both the most experienced operators and young chefs, sommeliers and waitresses , ever new tools to better communicate our territory".
