The countdown has begun for "Le Vie del Gusto" in Vasanello: a food and wine tour through the streets of the historic center to discover traditional dishes.
From September 18th to 20th 2026, the unmissable event returns with the ancient flavors of the past in a characteristic itinerary that winds through the most evocative corners of the country.
From Piazza dell'Ortaccio to Piazza Padella and Via San Salvatore, Via Roma and Via San Sebastiano, in a triumph of aromas and flavors, various "stops" will be set up where local specialties will be served, made according to ancient recipes passed down from grandmothers, in an atmosphere almost suspended in time.
On Friday and Saturday for dinner and Sunday for lunch, seven characteristic dining options will offer a delicious full menu including aperitifs and appetizers, tonnarelli with Cinta ragù, pasta and chickpeas, porchetta and salad, sausages and broccoli rabe, and conclude the evening in Piazza dell'Ortaccio with sweets and live music.
For an even more complete experience, you can combine the menu, which includes four tastings from four local wineries, with four gastronomic stops before dessert, with a wine chosen to accompany and enhance each dish.
The itinerant journey through food, wine, music, and tradition offers several options: adult menu 30 euros, children's menu 15 euros, and tasting menu 40 euros.
The event, now in its twentieth year, is organized by the Class of 1986, led by President Paolo Munzi, with the patronage of the Municipality of Vasanello. Over the course of its various editions, it has quickly established itself as an unmissable farewell to summer.
