CONSORZIO GARDA DOC AT VINITALY 2025: DIGITAL EXPERIENCES, CONVIVIALITY BETWEEN SOCIAL TASTING AND LIVE CONTENT

Anticipation is growing for the next edition of Vinitaly, which will be held from 6 to 9 April at the Verona Fair.

An unmissable event for journalists, operators and wine lovers from all over the world, the Garda Doc Consortium is the protagonist with a rich calendar of events.

Activities aimed at the public and others at the press will take place within the area ( Avenue H, Stand 1 ).

“ Consorzio Garda Doc will be the protagonist of this edition of Vinitaly through an intense and articulated calendar – underlines the President of the Garda DOC Consortium Paolo Fiorini – which intends to narrate the Denomination through the voice of those who live, love and produce in this wonderful territory. An innovative format that includes meetings in a dedicated lounge and tastings in our social tastings where focus and pairings will be organized designed to offer wine enthusiasts a unique experience of discovery of our wonderful territory ”.

Every day, the winemaker and popularizer Sissi Baratella will conduct, within a convivial space set up in Garda Doc style, social interviews that will feature some producers but also journalists, opinion leaders and personalities from the world of sport and cuisine. Starting from the simple question " Can I offer you a Garda Doc ?" Sissi will involve guests in a dialogue on the wines of the Consortium but also on the territory, the wine tourism offer, all accompanied by a glass of Garda Doc.

Sharing, conviviality and participation are also the key themes of the Social Tastings: tastings and food pairings that from 6 to 9 April will see the Garda DOC wines accompanied by the excellence of Italian gastronomy such as Montasio Dop Cheese, Crudo di Cuneo Dop and Salame Varzi Dop.

Unique tasting opportunities, guided with the contemporary and fresh style of Sissi Baratella and dedicated to a select audience of wine lovers and operators.

The stand of the Consorzio Doc Garda will be the living room of Vinitaly where the guests of Vinitaly will be able to rediscover all the scents, colours and flavours of an area with unique landscape characteristics, between Lombardy and Veneto, protected by the mountains and overlooking the largest basin in Italy: a wine production area, between the provinces of Brescia, Mantua and Verona, lies the DOC Garda, where the special climatic conditions have shaped over time the qualities of the different species of grapes that grow there and, still today, determine their peculiarities.

Not only events at the stand dedicated to sommeliers, journalists and operators, but also public involvement both inside the fair and in the historic center of Verona.

From 6 to 9 April, visitors present inside the Garda Doc stand will be the protagonists through video interviews, reels and stories published on the Consortium's social channels, while on the evening of Friday 4 April the Consortium's wines will be guests at the Vinitaly and the City event which will be held from 8:30 pm to 9:15 pm at the Cortile del Mercato Vecchio.

An unmissable event for all enthusiasts who will be able to immerse themselves in a unique atmosphere through tastings, meetings with producers and live shows.

An evening entitled: " Garda Doc: in the name of the vine. Wines synonymous with light, wind and water of Lake Garda ." during which the guests will be able to embark on a sensory and tasting journey through the Garda Doc denomination. From single-variety wines to blends, from still wines to sparkling wines, a tasting journey that only the Garda area can offer, together celebrating the soul of the largest lake in Italy in a symphony of flavours and aromas.

Together with these products, the Garda DOC Consortium is part of the three-year project co-financed by the European Union “DOP Excellence: a European Savoir-faire” . The communication campaign aims to strengthen the recognition and notoriety of quality European agri-food products with the DOP mark, as well as improve the competitiveness and consumption of the Union's agri-food products. The program, which involves Italy, Germany and Austria, includes a series of activities dedicated to increasing their visibility and appreciation in the three reference markets.
