The Consortium and the territory as protagonists
The Barbera Wine Festival is promoted by the Consorzio Barbera d'Asti e Vini del Monferrato , in collaboration with Go Wine , and is conceived as a widespread event that brings together wine, territory and community.
Great attention will be paid to the theme of environmental and social sustainability , to the valorization of young producers , and to the construction of an informed dialogue between new generations and wine culture.
The connection with the territory is the common thread of the Born Sustainable project co-financed by the European Union, which unites the Barbera d'Asti e Vini del Monferrato, Roccaverano DOP, and Conegliano Valdobbiadene Prosecco consortia.
These consortia represent not only Italian food and wine excellence but also models of environmental, economic, and social sustainability.
