The “Primavera del Castellinaldo Barbera d'Alba” event returns to Castellinaldo d'Alba, an initiative promoted by the Castellinaldo Winemakers Association in collaboration with Go Wine and now in its third edition , scheduled for Sunday 17 May 2026 in the historic centre of the town.
An event born with the aim of promoting one of the most distinctive expressions of Barbera d'Alba , deeply linked to the Castellinaldo area and the work of its cellars.
The heart of the initiative will be the tasting stand set up in Piazza Castello , scheduled for Sunday afternoon, with the producers in attendance: the companies will personally describe their wines, the work in the vineyard and cellar, the stylistic choices, and the connection to a territory that over time has built a precise physiognomy within the denomination.
A regional focus on Barbera d'Alba
Castellinaldo Barbera d'Alba represents a particularly interesting case in the Piedmontese winemaking landscape: a wine that harks back to a highly recognizable subzone, capable of expressing a Barbera with personality, linked to the hilly landscape of Roero and the local production tradition.
The event offers a unique opportunity to explore this identity through a tasting experience that focuses on wine and a direct relationship with producers.
The cellars of the Castellinaldo Winemakers Association will be present directly, offering tastings of:

A two-day event for the public and operators

A shared project
“Primavera del Castellinaldo” was born from the collaboration with the Castellinaldo Winemakers Association , an organization that today brings together 19 wineries committed to promoting this wine and its territory.
Castellinaldo Barbera d'Alba today represents a particularly prized sub-zone within the denomination, linked to a restricted area of eastern Roero and characterized by production that is attentive to quality, with limited yields and precise production discipline.
An event dedicated to the territory
The event offers an opportunity to delve into the heart of a wine region, meet its protagonists, and explore, glass in hand, the value of an increasingly significant territorial expression in the Barbera d'Alba panorama. The event is held under the patronage of the Enoteca Regionale del Roero and the Langhe Roero Monferrato Cultural Landscape Study Center .
