Calici di Stelle 2020 in Puglia 8-10 August in the participating wineries

Calici di Stelle, the largest outdoor tasting of the summer conceived and organized throughout Italy by the Wine Tourism Movement in collaboration with the national association Città del Vino which, every year, takes place in the week of San Lorenzo and involves thousands of residents and tourists with wine tastings, cultural initiatives and entertainment moments, will also be held this year to a lesser extent.

"In a difficult period for large events open to the public - declares Maria Teresa Basile Varvaglione, President of the Puglia Wine Tourism Movement - the cellars of the Puglia Wine Tourism Movement have long since reopened their doors to enotourists in complete safety by equipping themselves with a scrupulous reception protocol at the time of COVID-19 born from the collaboration between MTV and Unione Italiana Vini, a further way to rekindle the close relationship with wine tourists that has never really been interrupted. We hope that the magic of Calici di Stelle can bring some wonder and lightheartedness to the many fans who have been following us with passion for over twenty years. "

In Puglia it will be organized in two member wineries of the Consortium: Agricole Felline in Manduria (TA) and Amastuola in Crispiano (TA).

on August 8, at Agricole Felline, at Spazio Primitivo in Manduria (TA), "Goblets of Stars and Stripes" is staged: the culture of American barbecue combined with an incredible selection of production wines and in particular " zinfandel "alias primitivo with Dj set by Antonio Piergianni.

On Monday 10th August it is the turn of the Amastuola Wine Resort in Crispiano (TA): an ancient 15th century farmhouse surrounded by the renowned Giardino Vineyard. Tourists will be welcomed with food and wine stands and music with the Mancina Orchestra and, to follow, Dj Set.
