In light of the rapid increase in infections, hospitalizations and victims from covid-19 and in compliance with the recent provisions regarding the fight against the epidemic, the Luigi Veronelli Permanent Seminar announces that the third edition of NutriMenti , a review of gastronomic culture, has been postponed at a date to be decided.

In full agreement with the Accademia Carrara , the museum that would host the event, and the Municipality of Bergamo , the sponsoring body, the Association founded by Luigi Veronelli has decided to protect the health of winemakers, speakers and readers as much as possible, postponing to a more peaceful period. the rich program of "synaesthesia, tastings and dialogues" expected in the coming days. However, the Veronelli Seminar would like to thank all those who contributed to planning the appointments and who enthusiastically joined, confirming their participation.

The same desire to show concrete closeness to a territory particularly affected by the epidemic, the motivation that prompted the Veronelli Seminary to organize NutriMenti for the first time in Bergamo, now requires the cancellation of the exhibition, in order to avoid any possible health risk. The tastings of wine excellences, the public meetings dedicated to gastronomy as culture, the opportunities for dialogue between art, music and oenological masterpieces are, however, simply postponed: NutriMenti will be rescheduled as soon as the most complete safety can be guaranteed to speakers and the public ( those who have purchased tickets to participate in the events will be fully refunded in the next few hours).

After Siena, Rome and Venice, Bergamo will in any case host the official presentation of Veronelli's Gold Guide I Vini this year: the 2021 edition, in fact, will be unveiled on Thursday 22 October during a live streaming ceremony from the halls of the Accademia Carrara . Readers and enthusiasts will be able, therefore, to know the news of the Gold Guide in preview on the release in the bookstore by attending the online event, the details of which will soon be communicated on the seminarioveronelli.com website. In the presence of the Carrara masterpieces, among the main Italian art galleries, the Best Taste diplomas will also be awarded and the ten Suns, special prizes from the Editorial Staff, will be announced.
