Wine Fair 2023: wine, culture, art and lost plants in Piacenza

The program of the new Piacenza Expo Wine Fair , the market exhibition scheduled from Saturday 18 to Monday 20 November 2023 , is enriched with various collateral activities that will make the experience even more engaging and immersive. Visitors, in addition to discovering new wine realities , learning more about different themes through masterclasses and directly purchasing the labels for tasting - also in view of Christmas gifts - will be able to enjoy an all-round look at wine, with insights linked to the world of art, culture and crops. In fact, the main pavilion of the fair will host Rows of Books , a space dedicated to the presentations of volumes about wine, with 30-minute slots available to publishers and writers. In the corner dedicated to the podcast of the Wine Fair, live interviews will be conducted with the protagonists of a new Italy of wine: stories of harvests, courage and innovation, which will then be relaunched on the event website. In the Cantine d'Artista corner, classic and contemporary works of art will be exhibited with subjects, visions and themes linked to the magic of wine. In the Fuori Vigna emporium it will be possible to discover and purchase ancient plants that tell the story of the Italian territory, the fruits of natural agriculture to be rediscovered. Personalized spaces will be made available to sommelier associations , which will be able to present the training activities and innovations for 2024 to those who wish to cultivate their passion for wine. Visitors will finally be able to participate in Messages in a Bottle: Three Adjectives for Your Wine . By filling out a form which will be placed in a barrel placed at the exit of the fair it will be possible to describe your favorite wine. The three most recurring words will be chosen to form the claim of the next edition of the event. The cost of the daily ticket is 25 euros, but it is also possible to opt for cumulative ticket solutions, at the price of 40 euros for access to two days of the event and 55 euros for the entire duration of the fair. For those affiliated with the AIS, ONAV and FISAR sector associations, a reduced daily ticket is reserved at a cost of 15 euros, which can be requested by writing to ufficio.commerciale@piacenzaexpo.it.
