PIZZA GOURMET THE WEEKEND OF TASTE AT VILLA TERZAGHI SIGNED BY CHEF CARLO CRACCO

IT STARTS AGAIN TELLING THE HEALTHY FOOD, THE AGRICULTURE, THE SUSTAINABILITY, THE JOYFUL SPACING AND THE SOLIDARITY.

On July 10, the first event of Villa Terzaghi will be inaugurated, curated by the Maestro Martino association chaired by chef Carlo Cracco, in collaboration with S.Pellegrino Young Chef, the Municipality of Robecco sul Naviglio and the Ticino Park authority.

Following the upheaval of our consumption and social habits caused by the Covid-19 pandemic, the Maestro Martino Association has designed a safe sociality format, dedicated to catering and the discovery of local products, inside Villa Terzaghi, historic residence of 1700 in Robecco sul Naviglio, on the outskirts of Milan, already chosen by the Association to establish its own educational restaurant which will begin its business with the reopening of hotel schools in September.

The food and wine experience of the Villa will be focused on dishes that can be consumed outdoors with recyclable materials. The absolute protagonist is the Gourmet Pizza , the flagship of the Cracco in Galleria offer.

From 11 to 26 July to which an appointment is added on 5 and 6 September, on Saturdays and Sundays, the chefs and professionals involved will have to express their creativity by creating a tasting of different types of pizza that can enhance the local products and in particular of the Ticino Park. A pizza oven will be set up in the tensile structure and the gourmet pizzas of the great chefs can be eaten by guests in the park.

The ovens of Villa Terzaghi will be managed by the master pizza chef Pasquale Moro , world champion of pizza in a shovel, who will support all the professionals involved: starting from the brigade of the Cracco restaurant, led by pastry chef Marco Pedron who will be present on the weekend of 11 and 12 July. The weekend of 18 and 19 we would have Matteo Cunsolo, Andrea Besuschio, Sara Preceruti and Andrea Provenzani, that of 25 and 26 Daniel Canzian, Lorenzo Lavezzari and Lucia Tellone . On September 5th and 6th we will have the honor of welcoming Fabiana Download directly from Vico Equense.

"I Magnifici del Gelato" will complete the menu alongside the professionals of the Kitchen and White Art. The group of i Magnifici del Gelato , led by Franco Cesare Puglisi journalist and editor of the magazine Gelato PuntoIT, was born a few months ago and has collected the most significant names of the artisan ice cream shop starting from Massimiliano Scotti who with "Vero Latte" earned the title of the best artisan ice cream shop in Europe. During the 4 weekends, the wells will alternate: Antonio Morgese, Marco Venturino, Sergio Dondoli, Lavinia Vannucci, Giancarlo Timballo, Antonio Mezzalira, Enzo di Noia and Mauro Altomare.

The Weekend del Gusto are part of the promotion of the territory promoted by the Maestro Martino association since its establishment in 2011 and which in 2019 has found new life thanks to the agreement with the Municipality of Robecco.

" The collaboration with the chef Cracco association - says Fortunata Barni , mayor of Robecco sul Naviglio - is a qualifying point for our policy of valorising the territory. At a time like this we must support our quality agri-food supply chain, recount the landscape and promote the entire offer of our territory. We are convinced that these activities are preparatory to conscious growth while respecting environmental sustainability . "

The theme of sustainability will be treated in all aspects and in particular in the consumption of local products. Great importance will be given to education for change to build a better world, thanks to the support of experts in the sector who will teach cooking without waste and conscious consumption.

The spaces of the villa are equipped for the realization of a summer restaurant with the possibility of tasting either at the table or directly on the grass with the picnic formula. The park of over ten thousand square meters and the large marquee will host, together with the chefs linked to the Maestro Martino association who will offer their gourmet pizza, moments of sociability and fun that respect the new rules of hospitality , to create a sense in guests of community and sharing guided by respect, both mutual and towards the environment.

Villa Terzaghi is located within the Ticino Park, a protected natural area and the oldest regional park in Italy. In this green area of Lombardy there are producers and processors of excellence promoted by the Consorzio Parco del Ticino that will animate the tasting spaces of the Weekend del Gusto for the occasion.

The "Parco Ticino - Controlled Production" trademark is granted to farms operating in the Park that adopt good management techniques from an agronomic and environmental point of view. An important heritage that deserves attention and support and of which Villa Terzaghi will be a showcase.

The Weekend del Gusto will also be an opportunity to collect donations for the Blue Cross section of Robecco sul Naviglio which in recent months has contributed significantly to the fight against Covid-19.

All the activities of the Weekend del Gusto, as well as the methods of participation and access, will be carefully managed to ensure the safety of the participants and compliance with the rules on social distancing. Based on the daily program, guests will have the opportunity to purchase online, different types of packages , each of which will allow access to activities / services in different time slots.

Summer 2020 will be a different summer for the whole world. We need to rethink new socialization models that respect the necessary precautions to safely enjoy recreational and cultural experiences.

Visiting the park is an opportunity to stay outdoors and discover the wealth of natural environments not far from Milan that can be visited. 780km of trails, 122km of which along the Alzaie dei Navigli. Itineraries of environmental, historical and cultural interest, almost entirely on dirt roads, and points of historical interest such as the Panperduto Dam , Villa Gromo, Villa Gaia , Morimondo Abbey, Vigevano.

To encourage responsible and environmentally friendly behavior, during the Weekend of Taste the Maestro Martino Association offers a 26 km bicycle route starting from Milan and arriving at Villa Terzaghi along the Naviglio Grande cycle path.

By car

Villa Terzaghi is located in the Lombard countryside, easily reachable in 20 minutes by highway (A4 Marcallo-Mesero exit towards Turin) and 10 minutes by state road: 30 minutes only from the heart of Milan (36 km).

By bike

Along the Naviglio Grande which leads from Milan to the Ticino river (26 km).
