PassaVivande: planning a sustainable development for Vicenza through food and urban policies

PassaVIvande will take place on Saturday 15 and Sunday 16 April 2023 at the headquarters of the "La Vigna" International Library in Vicenza, a path of public consultation and participatory planning on food and city policies. The initiative is organized as part of the European project " Cities2030 - Co-creating resilient and sustainable food systems towards FOOD2030" funded by the Horizon2020 program (Grant Agreement nr. 101000640), of which the Municipality of Vicenza is a partner together with the International Library " The Vineyard" . The event is aimed at all citizens and local actors interested in participating in the formulation of a Food Policy for Vicenza that contributes to the economic, environmental and social sustainability of the urban and peri-urban food system. The occasion is open to local institutions, AULSS and health services, trade and professional associations, companies sensitive to the subjects of Cities2030 but also to representatives of the third sector, consortia, schools, universities, foundations and research and cultural centres. The two days will be divided into three main moments : during the Saturday morning , through an introductory session that includes the participation of the television host, author and writer Patrizio Roversi , the concept of Food Policy , the aims, objectives and the value added that this tool makes it possible to pursue, also by sharing the experiences of other cities that have already adopted one. In the afternoon of Saturday and in the first part of the morning of Sunday , ideas and proposals on the theme will be collected using the Open Space Technology methodology , which will have the aim of bringing out and putting new projects into synergy starting from the participants themselves. Finally, in the second part of Sunday morning , the proposals of the participants will be discussed and organized in areas and priorities of intervention so that, thanks to the contribution of all the participants, the roadmap of the City of Vicenza can be set up, in synergy with the project Cities2030.
