From November 14th to December 21st, 2025, Asti celebrates "Jewels of the Territory," an event dedicated to the food and wine excellence of Monferrato, a land of hills, vineyards, and authentic traditions. The undisputed star is the prized white truffle of Asti , a rare and noble fruit of the earth, an ambassador of unmistakable aromas and a rural culture passed down through generations.
The culinary journey begins November 14th to 16th with the Asti National Truffle Fair , held in Piazza Alfieri, where truffle hunters and traders will display and sell the finest truffles from the Asti hills. The experience will continue until December 21st, again in Piazza Alfieri, the heart of the event, where you can purchase fresh truffles and discover the Jewels of the Region , the outstanding food and wine products that make Monferrato unique.
The truffle from the Asti hills is distinguished by its aromatic finesse and intense yet balanced aroma, with notes reminiscent of wild garlic, hay, and honey. It grows in the clay soils and humid woodlands of Monferrato, where the perfect combination of climate and biodiversity yields specimens of the highest quality, sought after worldwide.
Throughout the festival, truffles will also be featured prominently in the city center's restaurants and taverns , where chefs and cooks will interpret this precious gift of the earth in dedicated menus, accompanied by the region's great wines.
