Along with the wines there will also be areas dedicated to food, such as the Monte Veronese Village in Piazza Brà : a space to be discovered and savored among guided tastings and educational workshops on Lessinia cheese. Through the engaging words of experts, the various maturations of Monte Veronese PDO will be tasted , appreciating the different flavors of each form, on Saturdays and Sundays at 12 noon and 6.30 pm . While the educational workshops for children and adults One hour as a dairyman will be moments in which everyone can make a small cheese , having fun and learning the techniques of dairy art, scheduled for Saturday and Sunday at 3 pm and 5 pm . "The Monte Veronese Village in Hostaria is for us a new opportunity for discussion - comments Alfonso Albi , President of the Consortium - Being in the square among the people is fundamental in our work and we believe that the educational component is an important element to involve the public and guide him to conscious choices. Especially in the field of food and wine it is necessary to know how to recognize the quality of the raw materials and the heritage of artisan tradition behind the individual products ". Monte Veronese DOP is a cheese produced on the Lessini Mountains exclusively with cow's milk in two types, whole milk and farmed milk , which differ in the milk used and the processing, expressing themselves in different flavors. To these two is added the version of the alpine farm, with milk collected from cows in the mountain pastures in the period from May to October, recognized as a Slow Food Presidium . During the event, maximum safety will be guaranteed, both for exhibitors and for the public, thanks to an organization studied in detail, already successfully tested in 2020. Access to tastings is only possible if in possession of a Green Pass or alternatively, a rapid negative molecular or antigenic buffer of a maximum of 48 hours prior to entry. Children under the age of 12 are exempt from the obligation. All information and pre-sales on www.hostariaverona.com
