The third edition of the Festival dei Vini e Sapori di Lombardia will be held on Sunday 4 May in Piazza del Mercato in Brescia . After Broni and Mantua, 2025 will see the city that Giosuè Carducci defined as "the strong, the iron, the lioness of Italy" as the protagonist.
The protagonists will be the 11 Wine and Flavor Routes of Lombardy, itineraries designed to enhance territories, beauties and food and wine deposits through experiential tourism.
Thanks to tastings, samplings, explanations of itineraries, but also educational activities for children and seminars to deepen their knowledge of wine, visitors will be able to get to know an extraordinary region.
In these three years, the Festival of Wines and Flavours of Lombardy has demonstrated how joining forces is essential for regional promotion. As underlined by the President of the Federation, Gianni Boselli : << This year the Festival reaches its third edition and represents an extraordinary opportunity to enhance the food and wine excellence of Lombardy and, in particular, the activities of the eleven Roads that make up the Federation >>. The choice of Brescia is a source of pride for the city, as underlined by Flavio Bonardi , President of the Colli Longobardi Strada del Vino e dei Sapori and Vice President of the Federation: << I am very happy that this year the Festival is taking place in Brescia. During the event, guests will be able to participate in guided tours, tastings and masterclasses to discover the secrets of winemaking and savour Lombard wines, accompanied by our risottos and typical products >>.
The program
During the day, with a €5.00 ticket, visitors will be able to visit the stands to taste the many local specialties, cheeses, cured meats, sweets but also risottos, jams and above all the wines of the best production areas of Lombardy. The day will begin at 10:00 with the Holy Mass in the Basilica of Ss. Faustino and Giovita, followed by the opening of the stands from 11:00 to 19:00. At 11:30, in the “Piamarta” Hall (via San Faustino n. 70), the conference “Tourism, Territory and Tradition: the tomorrow of the Wine and Flavor Roads” will be held . At 12:15 there will be the ribbon cutting with the participation of the authorities. In the afternoon, at 15:00, the activities for children will begin , curated by the International Art Gallery of the Evolutionary Age, and the masterclass “Discovering Lombard cheeses and cured meats”.
At 4:30 pm , the cutting of the institutional cake of the event will be celebrated. The day will continue at 5:00 pm with the masterclass “Il Metodo Classico in Lombardia” and will end at 7:00 pm.

In the days following the event, Wednesday 7 and Thursday 8 May , the food and wine experience will continue in collaboration with ARTHOB (Association of Restaurants, Trattorie and Hosterie Bresciane) thanks to the participation of the restaurants that will offer dinners accompanied by the best Lombard wines, at an agreed price.
