Also this week, the Campania Excellence and Verace Sudd celebrate taste and invite the public to a new event dedicated to Neapolitan delicacies and the excellence of the territory. Friday 2 October appointment with the " Festa del Panuozzo di Gragnano " in the restaurant in via Brin in Naples.
Born in Gragnano in the Eighties, Panuozzo is one of the most identifying foods of Campania cuisine: a large sandwich made with the same dough as pizza and cooked in a wood oven. In the classic version it includes rolled pancetta and fior di latte from Agerola as a filling but, in addition to the traditional one, Excellence Campane will offer a wide choice of combinations, thanks to a menu designed ad hoc by the Panuozzeria Gragnanese of Vincenzo D'Amora , teacher in this type of production. From the “Gragnanese”, with sausage, fiordilatte and grilled aubergines, to the “Alla Nerano” version with provolone bacon and fried zucchini, up to the one with sausage, provolone and potatoes. These are just some of the selected ingredients that can be tasted and will fully enhance the potential of this extraordinary gastronomic product.
For the occasion there will also be music on the theme, and a musical accompaniment by the "Trio Jazz" will be provided .
All the whole Panuozzi on the menu will be at the special price of 10 euros. Furthermore, with participation in the event, guests will have a special 20% discount on the purchase of all the products of the Market and the Excellences Campane dairy.
