There are only 400 "special" bottles that Drusian wanted to create to highlight a new project that concerns social issues, a topic that is very close to the company's heart.
It is a recent collaboration between the historic winery of Francesco Drusian, located within the territory of the UNESCO hills and the Società Cooperativa Sociale ALI , also founded in Valdobbiadene in 1983 which hosts young people with disabilities who daily undertake to create small works of art of different nature.
“We wanted to create something unique that could still represent our products, and at the same time give an original touch to what for us is the fruit of hard work and a lot of passion ”, comments Francesco Drusian , third generation at the helm of the company. family. “We decided to collaborate with this reality in our territory because we strongly believe in cooperation and we liked the idea of being able to engage young people in the practical realization of their personality which will then represent, for a limited edition of bottles, the label of our famous Valdobbiadene DOCG Brut and Extra Dry sparkling wines" .
It all happened during a real event that took place at the company last July. The young people who joined the project were accompanied by the operators in Drusian to learn about reality and then created drawings starting from a theme chosen by the Company, namely " what does it mean for you to socialize with... ".
“We opted for this important topic with the aim of maintaining the social as a point of reference - explains Francesco - while leaving room for the free interpretation of each of them, linked to what they considered most appropriate to represent”.
Once all the creations had been collected, the company chose 4 which were transformed into the front label of their products.
The kids were enthusiastic about this initiative which the company will certainly propose again.
The "unique pieces" are available at the winery's sales point, or can be booked, for a truly special gift, while supplies last.
