Dinner in the Camaldoli forest, under a full moon, with chefs Ariel Hagen of Borgo Santo Pietro and Saporium and Nicola Bortone of Locanda dei Baroni - OST on Monday, June 29th. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to AVIS Casentino.

After the success of the first evenings, all of which sold out, the journey of OST – Osteria Stellata Temporanea, the food and wine project conceived by Love Casentino , a social promotion association committed to promoting the Casentino region and its gastronomic, cultural and landscape excellence, continues.

The next event is scheduled for Monday, June 29th at 7:00 PM in one of the most enchanting locations on the entire calendar : the Chestnut Grove of the Camaldoli Campsite, immersed in the greenery of the Casentinesi Forests National Park. Making the evening even more evocative is the coincidence, not coincidence, of the so-called Strawberry Moon, the full moon of June , which will provide the backdrop for a gastronomic experience designed to connect with nature and the surrounding landscape.

The evening will feature a four-handed dinner featuring Ariel Hagen, Executive Chef of Borgo Santo Pietro and the Michelin-starred and Michelin-green-starred Saporium restaurants in Chiusdino and Florence, and chefs Nicola Bortone and the brothers Matteo and Andrea Baroni of Locanda dei Baroni, a restaurant that has been a point of reference for Casentino hospitality and cuisine for years.

Florentine by birth, Ariel Hagen is today one of the most exciting figures in new Italian cuisine. After training in Tuscany, he gained significant professional experience in several prestigious European restaurants, working alongside chefs such as Norbert Niederkofler and Gaetano Trovato. At the helm of Borgo Santo Pietro, he has developed a cuisine rooted in respect for nature, biodiversity, and seasonality —principles that have earned him, along with his team, a Michelin Star and a Michelin Green Star .

The encounter with the cuisine of Locanda dei Baroni will spark a gastronomic journey built around the flavors of the forest and Casentino . The menu will feature some of the region's most iconic ingredients, including game, mushrooms, chestnuts, and truffles, in a continuous dialogue between haute cuisine, tradition, and landscape .

As with all OST evenings, the gastronomic journey will be accompanied by a selection of wines curated by Andrea Bravaccini, Sommelier of the Year 2024 and 2026, featuring labels from wineries belonging to the Casentino Winegrowers' Association.

OST is a project by Love Casentino, a non-profit social promotion association registered with the RUNTS. Part of the proceeds will be donated to AVIS Casentino, while the remainder will support Love Casentino's activities to promote and enhance the area.

The project is sponsored by the municipalities of Bibbiena, Poppi, and Pratovecchio-Stia, and enjoys the support of the Casentino Winegrowers' Association and Preludio Rental Division, as well as food and wine critic and journalist Leonardo Romanelli.
