De Luca's Buns on Friday 5 June the evening-event at Mac Lir Between taste and solidarity

An evening dedicated to De Luca's Buns sitting at the Mac Lir tables. On Friday 5 June, from 7:30 pm until midnight and a half, the Torre del Greco restaurant opens its doors to its customers for a menu dedicated to good food and solidarity.

From Cinghialone to Fratacchione, passing through the Portaseccia, the Anti-Assembramento and the Lanciafiamme. Five sandwiches that the Mac Lir dedicated to the most emblematic phrases that the President of the Campania Region Vincenzo De Luca gave us during the long quarantine period. The new "buns" created by Francesco Vitiello and Luana Peluso, owners of the restaurant, have immediately gained some public success. Many orders, both to take away and seated at the table. For each sandwich sold, one euro was allocated to the food bank for solidarity expenses.

Hence the idea of dedicating the evening of Friday 5 June to the initiative: a tasting menu consisting of all five De Luca's Buns, in the mini bun version, plus the Bunny Toast, dessert created exclusively for Mac Lir by pastry chef Gianni Lopes, consisting of a carrot toast, strawberry jam, philadelphia cream and mascarpone, with strawberry topping and candied carrots.

Once again, good food will be based on solidarity shopping. The entire collection of the service will be donated to charity at the food bank. Customers will thus be able to choose the tasting menu consisting of De Luca's Buns or to favor the other dishes on the Mac Lir menu: whatever the choice, the collection of the service will be donated to charity. At the end of the evening, a gadget will then be distributed to everyone: a mask with the De Luca's Buns logo, offered by the Sartori Moda clothing store.
