Course of Good Manners

On Tuesday, 11th November 2014, at 7:15 p.m., at the historic home of the Bracci Palace of the Counts Bracci (located in Via Garibaldi – 61032 Fano (PU) – near the "Da Pep" restaurant, the 4th edition of the Course of Good Manners will start, proposed by the Accademia degli Scomposti, and held by the Countess Cristiana Anselmi in partnership with the AIS Delegation of Pesaro.



Good Manners have always been in line and "arm in arm" with the Sommelerie! Because of this, we have decided to extend this opportunity to all Sommeliers, to participants in Professional Qualification Courses for AIS Sommelier, to your friends, relatives and acquaintances who will have the opportunity to treat themselves or give as a present something really special: a unique experience!

Four lessons that are masterfully held by the Countess for all those who are lovers of style, elegance and refinement. Many fans, including Sommeliers, Candidate Sommeliers and friends of the AIS Delegation of Pesaro, have already participated with great enthusiasm and interest in the previous 3rd edition ended on 30th October! Moments of conviviality and culture of good manners, transmitted by those who have learned and experienced firsthand, and now proposed again to those who want to know and appreciate them. At the end of the course each participant will receive a summarizing instalment.

Four lessons for four nights for as many weeks. We start with "Presentations. Answer. To decline or accept an invitation. To receive and present guests. Unexpected or late guests. To invite. Suitable gift, gift with tact. Good Manners at the bar. Rules and manners", to move, then, on to the "Behaviour to be taken at the table. What you should not do. How to take your place. Courses. To serve courses. Cutlery for courses. How to eat difficult food", then, to the "Accessories at the table. Glass set. The mise en place. Attention to detail. Etiquette of wine. Styles of service. Words of wine. To drink after dinner" ending with "What a lady must have in her wardrobe. Etiquette of the bride. What to wear to a wedding. Menswear. Smoking, Tight, Waist Tight, Frac".

Places are very limited.



The total cost of the entire course, including all course materials and the summarizing instalment, is only € 55 to be paid directly, the 1st lesson, at the secretary of the Accademia at the seat of the course.
