The Petrucco farm was born from the love of Lina and Paolo Petrucco for their land: we are in the heart of the DOC area of the Colli Orientali del Friuli, in Buttrio in Monte. The Colli Orientali del Friuli are sweet and sunny terraces, ideal for viticulture, practiced in these areas since ancient times. The soils are of Eocene origin, consisting mainly of layered clays and calcareous marls. This type of soil, which takes the name of ponca, is particularly suitable for growing grapes as it is very rich in mineral salts and microelements. The property covers an area of 35 hectares, of which 20 are planted with vines, with a production of about 80,000 bottles a year, following a deliberately contained yield per hectare, which makes quality the main objective. Petrucco wines are the clear expression of our land and are born from the happy combination of ancient wisdom and modern technology.
