Located in the beautiful setting of the Euganean Hills, at the foot of Monte della Madonna, the Colle Mattara winery stems from a tradition handed down from father to son guarding jealously the care and the passion for the cultivation of vines, without forgetting the respect for nature.
The exposure of the vineyards is excellent: they extend on all the slope of the hill, catching the heat and light of the sun all day with excellent results on the final quality of the grapes. The new plants and the modern methods of training are all aimed to increase quality. No less important is the influence of the climate and the vocation of the land to the cultivation of vines.
The processing of the grapes uses modern winemaking technologies, following in this way the concept of genuineness in order to respect what nature has placed at our disposal. The results of an ongoing research to improve the quality of our products, of a work in harmony and in accordance with nature, in the union of experience, tradition and modern technology, can be found in our wines that we propose today in 11 different types.
