Azienda Santa Cassella company is located in the Marche region which consists of a series of gentle hills and valleys descending from the Apennines to the sea; it has an area of about 70 hectares of which 25 are vineyards. Since the 18th century in Azienda Santa Cassella the Buonaccorsi counts, predecessors of the current owners, cultivated vines. In 1970 a new phase aimed at increasing the quality of production started.

Alongside the traditional vines (Sangiovese, Montepulciano, Maceratino, Malvasia and Verdicchio) they introduced some international grape varieties, such as Cabernet–Sauvignon, Merlot, Sauvignon and Chardonnay. The belief that good wine comes from the vineyard first prompted the Company to pay particular commitment in the care of the vine, especially in the reduction of the production per plant.

The grapes are harvested by hand, then gently pressed. The red wines and some special white wines are aged in oak barrels. The Company, having found a continued success in the production of quality wines, is planning to develop a new vineyard of 10 hectares with about 5,000 vines per hectare.

The wine business is complemented by the production of an extra virgin olive oil recommended for its digestibility in any diet, especially the Mediterranean one.
