The Fontezoppa company is a strong statement of will, already in its name, that, although harsh, refers to the ancient source that was located where the vineyards are today. A tenacious desire of bonds with names, feelings, memories that those lands and those spaces evoke, even with the stories that are told by those people who, from that land, know to have taken substance and soul.
Fontezoppa, today, is the result of a project that is not to be considered accomplished, but that has found its form in a winery, where essentiality tries to show how itself as simple harmony, where concrete, wood, steel, and even barrels, seem to have always been there, among those vines that change every day: from skinny branches to gems, to tender greens that are repeated in a symmetrical way down the hill.
and ... perhaps, it is understandable that the eyes of our entrepreneurs do not get tired of caressing these hills, their memories, of loving the names of the traditions. The vineyards are located in Civitanova and partly to Serrapetrona. Sangiovese, Merlot, Cabernet, Lacrima, but also Maceratino, Incrocio Bruni, Pecorino are the grape varieties planted around Civitanova Alta, just a gaze away from the sea.
