Via Russiz, 7
34070 Capriva del Friuli (Gorizia)
Italy
In the Collio of Gorizia area, precisely in the municipality of Capriva del Friuli, the Russiz Superiore estate is located. The story of the company began at the end of the thirteenth century and its name stems from the denomination of the hills where vineyards extend.

The eagle of Russiz Superiore derives from the crest that was of the princes of Torre Tasso, among the first lords of these lands, who came in Friuli in 1273. A noble emblem, noble wines, noble families that succeeded in time until we come to Marco Felluga. Today, his son Roberto runs the company with the entrepreneurship and passion he inherited from his father. Of the 100 hectares of the property, 50 are cultivated with vineyards, with a vine density of more than 6,000 plants per hectare and a production of white wines exceeding the red ones. Both varieties find in these gentle hills an environment with special geo–morphological and climate characterics.
