Massimo d’Alessandro and Giuseppe Calabresi had the idea to allocate a portion of the housing for the “creation of a village” of wine lovers.
Partners since 2007, they have complementary roles within the company.
Massimo d’Alessandro, designer and already a professor of Design at La Sapienza University in Rome, represents the story of the family that has led the way to quality wine in the territory of Cortona.
He founded an avant–garde gallery in Rome in the 70s, inheriting the passion for art, cultivated over the years as a collector.
Giuseppe Calabresi is the soul of the business and the finance in the company, he is still today shareholder of the Calabresi company of transport, a leader in the Lazio region in the field of road transport, and a former member of Finanziaria Ktesios, one of the few private companies active in the sector of consumer credit in Italy.
He participates with passion to the important re–launch of the company’s brand in the world of wine, and he also collects contemporary artworks.
