It is a choice of nature. So it was our meeting with Quota 101 An estate nestled in the Euganean Hills, where 101 are the meters above sea level from which to enjoy sunset. Hardly you realize to be so close to Padua and Venice. Here, our wines are made, where vines have always been grown. Among centuries–old olive trees, woods of chestnut and oak trees.
The vineyards carry on their shoulders more than thirty years of experience in twenty hectares of clayey soils. Our aim is to improve our work, giving you the best, without any saving in research and commitment. Today we can tell wine as we want to. Listening to a song, or after a bike ride in the hills. Yes, because wine, when it crosses other stories, reveales itself in depth.
This is our way of living the land, with cheerfulness. This is our bucolic forefront.
At the foot of the imposing Catajo, a narrow road goes down from the highway to introduce into a luxury country house, where the buildings, the yard in trachyte, the barns speak of the ancient loyalty of the Salvan family to the land. Inside the courtyard, wine cellars. All around, vineyards.
For generations, local people have combined with expertise academic knowledge with peasant concreteness; it is not a surprise, then, to find here the most modern tools and techniques of the most advanced winemaking.
Dr. Giorgio Salvan welcomes visitors in the vineyards and, in the wine cellar, pours for tasting the wine from large containers, but then proudly displays the small casks of different woods where he leaves to age the wine he knows.
He is a lover: he tells the story of the place, recommens the right wine for the various dishes, to understand, to learn more, to offer friends a sip of pleasure.
Alfonso Soranzo deals with the cultivation of his five hectares of land planted with vines, in the hills, in full respect of the environment around him and, especially, limiting as much as possible the processing in the cellar, to give us wines that are scarcely “manipulated”.
Vignale di Cecilia is a small wine estate in the Veneto region that has been in the Brunello family for 45 years. I have inherited this land from my grandfather, Nello, and started labeling and bottling my production for the first time in 2000. Vignale di Cecilia is located in the Euganean Hills, a small angle of the Mediterranean close to Venice, Padua, Vicenza and Verona. The climate is moderate due to it's closeness to the sea and the soil is composed of limestone and volcanic, absolutely unique and one of a kind in Europe.
I personally work the land with my own hands, caring for each wine I make in a unique manner. I concentrate all of my energy on the planning and realization of the vineyard, looking to create extremely fine and elegant wines, innovative in taste profile, yet traditional in the technique. In total, my estate produces roughly around 30,000 bottles per year.
The proportion between quality and price is another constant goal in my research. My wines are placed at a price range that offers you the best quality of wine at a reasonable price.

Castello di Lispida is an impressive winery that takes pride in producing high-quality wines. At the foothills to the East of the Euganean Hills, in the town of Due Carrare, you find "La Mincana" farm of the Dal Martello family, since three generations.
The vineyards surround the winery, consisting of a complex that includes a sixteenth century villa and an arcade where the cellars are located today. The villa of the seventeenth century is owned by the noble Venetian Dolfin family, that took it over from the Bondumier, the holders in the sixteenth century. In the first half of the eighteenth century it was renovated in Palladian style, particularly evident in the loggia to the north and the oratory built to the west side of the villa.
Towards the end of the eighteenth century Andrea Dolfin (then ambassador of the Venetian Republic in France) gave architect Giannantonio Selva the job to build a garden in British style in the area of the southern orchard, one of the first in Italy. Few traces remain of the garden, the fish pond and some old trees.
The farm has been owned by the Dal Martello family since 1907 and covers an area of about 57 hectares, of which 18 are vineyards. The main activity is the production and sale of wine. A careful vineyard management, low yields per hectare, appropriate techniques and attention at various stages of the subsequent winemaking allow to obtain a final product of quality.
La Mincana is easily accessible because a few hundred meters from the Terme Euganee exit of the Bologna–Padova motorway.
Generation after generation, for more than five centuries, our family has been working and living with the products of the earth.
Inside the Regional Park of the Euganean Hills, in the municipality of Rovolon (Pd), we cultivate our vineyards in total respect of the environment and traditions.
Armed with this experience, we have been able to renew our skills. The vineyards, situated in the hills and foothills, have training forms, plant systems and cultivation techniques that are specific and treated in detail.
All this, we have done it with just one goal: to raise even more the quality of our grapes and of our wines.
