The best wineries in Friuli-Venezia Giulia.
Poggiobello is a winery that produces high-quality wines using traditional techniques and modern technology. Their grapes are carefully selected from the best vineyards to create unique blends with intense flavors and aromas. Poggiobello offers a range of wines from classic varietals to more experimental blends, each with its own distinct character. The winery focuses on sustainability and preservation of the land, ensuring that their wines are not only delicious but also environmentally responsible.
In 1957, after the purchase of the house and the vineyard in the hills of Rocca Bernarda, the production of the wine of this winery began: the first was Tocai "the white of the Friulians", the one for all occasions. After that, in the early 1960s the company was transferred from the small hamlet of Vencò to Corno di Rosazzo, the current headquarters of the farm. From the eighties, the company passed into the hands of Adriano who decided to start the production of the first bottles with the peacock to act as a brand on the label, soon becoming a representative and recognized icon of the goodness of this company wine. Today the business is conducted in total and winning synergy by Adriano and his wife Giuliana, assisted by his cousin Ariedo who takes care of the oenological part.
