Francesco Mior and Daniele Bet succeeded in integrating a typical of Friuli traditional tavern with a place that with research for native products have become with time a wine bar in every sense.
The structure is of an old tavern on the ring around Sacile that has existed since the early years of the twentieth century. After various managements the two young managers restored it turning it into a venue that has kept the atmosphere of the old taverns of Friuli.
It is hard to leave without having verified the quality of the wine, the friendliness and professionalism of managers and of the staff.
Their wine choice is cross, while maintaining the characteristics of the place and keeping the tastes of their clientele, that is very eclectic, with a variation ranging in age, from the youngest generations to the old Friulian traditional taverns’ customers, where one can find wines for tasting with a showcase of gourmet products that are perfectly integrated with the wines of Collio, accompanied by freshly prepared snacks and native red wines that are accompanied by native delicacies typical of Trieste as the ham of Prague and the classic Porcina.
Prosecco wines, like all over the North East, are the protagonists and are varied in nature. They range from the more traditional ones, including those of the Province of Pordenone that for a year now have been able to claim the DOC, to those more sophisticated such as the vintages of Drusian.
Maintaining the characteristics of the wine bar, once a month, tastings are done with the variation of beer, organizing parties that do not offer traditional beer but national and craft beers that can accompany quietly the local cuisine.
Every month we organize evenings with music and the target of consumers is decidedly young.
Outside the tavern there is a summer garden with a wooden structure that virtually divides the room in two and allows customers, in their summer evenings, to be served quickly without having to use the main structure of the tavern.
Prices are affordable to all tastes, maintaining the characteristics of quality with a very satisfactory value for money.
