Made exclusively with juniper from the Umbrian-Tuscan Apennines , harvested when fully ripe between September and October, to which is added fragrant Roman chamomile , bitter orange peel , angelica root and other Italian spices , left to mature slowly and in a natural way, without haste. The entire distillation process in a discontinuous alembic still takes place in a current steam, to ensure the maximum extraction and qualitative yield from the botanicals. Each crush of The Fighting Bear gin is single shot , to ensure constant monitoring of the quality of the distillate and a meticulous screening of the quality of the botanicals before their use. The result is an elegant, round, fragrant and soft 43% vol. The nose is full and straightforward, a magnificent expression of the balance between its aromatic components, dominated by Umbrian juniper, bitter orange and Roman chamomile. The taste is dry, with great personality and finesse, with distinctly herbaceous and balsamic traits and a persuasive citrus and floral finish.
In the second half of the 19th century, among the favorite activities of American sporting gentlemen and Jerry Thomas , there was the collection of bets for fights between man and animal. The legend of the fighting bear , undefeated in over one hundred matches, all won before the limit, lasted for decades. ' The Fighting Bear ' is back to take on new challenges and to remind everyone that he is always invincible. Wanna fight?
