The final took place on 10 December 2024 in Finale Emilia at the Rulli Frulli station.

Great success for the COPPA CASONI 2024 , the first Cocktail Competition created by Casoni Liquori in collaboration with Fabio Bacchi and BarTales which brings together some of the most creative and innovative bartenders on the Italian mixology scene, selected by invitation, who challenged each other with shakers and cocktails.

After a day where the 15 finalists put all their creativity, mastery and experience into play, challenging each other through two tests, an exceptional jury composed of Samantha Migani Hawaiky Igea Marina, Federico Mastellari of the drink factory Bologna and Riccardo Marinelli of Roma Bar Show decreed the most deserving bartender:

  • 1st place for Daniele Agostini, Les Etoiles Terrace, Rome
  • 2nd place for Giuseppe Tenore, Paszkowski of Florence
  • 3rd place for Stefano Milici, Gusto Papilla of Patti-Messina

Inspiration:

A classic style vermouth cocktail

Ingredients:

45 ml Casoni Vermouth 1814

45ml Vermouth Tomaso Agnini with balsamic vinegar

5ml Amaro del Ciclista reduction

6 dash Bitter licorice and gentian and Mint

Technique: Stir

Glass: Vintage cup

Garnish: Lemon peel Parmesan cheese with vinegar glaze

Casoni Liquori would like to congratulate all the participants, not only for the high technical level shown during the creation of the cocktails, but also for the enthusiasm, passion and desire to get involved that they demonstrated in this first edition of Coppa Casoni.

Among the references of the Modena distillery that were used in the final, Amaro del Ciclista , the favourite after-dinner drink for lovers of two wheels, Gin Tabar , the Original from the lower Modena area and the Aperitivo 1814 line, ideal for creating the classic Italian-style aperitif.
